Studio Policies

📋 SCHOOL POLICIES

  • Arrive on time – Warm-ups help prevent injury.

  • Hair must be tied up (bun or ponytail).

  • No food, gum, or jewelry in class.

  • Cell phones not allowed during class.

  • Use parking spaces only – do not block fire lanes.

  • Children must be picked up inside the studio by a parent.

  • No food/drink in hallways; students must be supervised.

  • For inclement weather: check Facebook, email, or call 1 hour before class.

  • Missed classes (due to illness/weather) may be made up within the same semester.

  • We’re not responsible for lost or stolen items – label all belongings.

  • Observation windows/doors are controlled by teacher discretion.

  • Bullying, including cyber bullying, is strictly prohibited.

👗 DRESS CODE

All students must wear appropriate cover-ups to and from class.

GIRLS:

  • Ballet Tots: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers (no skirts/tutus)

  • Ballet: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers (no shorts/skirts)
    – Hair must be in a bun

  • Pointe: Black leotard, pink tights, pointe shoes

  • Tap: Black leotard, pink/tan tights, tan tap shoes with non-skid rubber pads

  • Jazz: Solid color leotard, tights, tan slip-on boots

  • Contemporary/Lyrical/Modern: Solid color leotard, footless tights, bare feet (unless directed)

  • Hip Hop: Solid leotard or tank, dance pants/shorts, black Converse-style sneakers

  • Musical Theater: Solid leotard, pink/tan tights, black leg warmers (shoes: see teacher)

BOYS:

  • Solid color T-shirt

  • Black dance pants/sweats/shorts

  • Black shoes
